About the Programme

M.A. (Hons.) Geography is a postgraduate degree course of 2 years. This course involves the study of Earth Sciences including physical, regional and economic aspects through an advanced academic exploration. The course undertakes both theoretical and practical understanding of the earth’s surface, landforms, and the environment concerning both regional and universal level.

Eligibility

Any passed Graduate with 50% (for SC/ST/OBC 45%)

Students having CUET Score will be given preference in merit.

Lateral Entry

Students should have successfully completed a PG diploma as defined by NEP 2020 to seek admission into Semester 3 of NEP based two-year postgraduate program post completion of exit formalities at college/ university.

Students shall be allowed lateral entry in the streams/ subjects already pursuing.

Students can seek lateral entry into a program till the validity of their credits on ABC, which is 7 years.
