M.A. in Sanskrit is a postgraduate programme built on the fundamentals of Vedic and Sanskrit literature, Indian philosophy, ethics, and Sanskrit grammar. It is a historical Indo-Aryan language that serves as the principal liturgical language for Hinduism, Jainism, and Buddhism.

Students having CUET Score will be given preference in merit.
Students should have successfully completed a PG diploma as defined by NEP 2020 to seek admission into Semester 3 of NEP based two-year postgraduate program post completion of exit formalities at college/ university.
Students shall be allowed lateral entry in the streams/ subjects already pursuing.
Students can seek lateral entry into a program till the validity of their credits on ABC, which is 7 years.
