Objective:

The Equal Opportunity Committee is constituted as per the guidelines of the UGC to ensure a fair and unbiased environment in the University. Its primary objective is to safeguard the interests of students and eliminate discrimination or harassment on the basis of caste, creed, religion, language, ethnicity, gender or disability.

Responsibilities:

• To safeguard the interests of students without any prejudice to their caste, creed, religion, language, ethnicity, gender or disability.
• To take appropriate measures to eliminate discrimination or harassment within the University.
• To promote equality and inclusiveness among students.
• To ensure that no discrimination occurs against students belonging to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes or any other marginalized groups.
