Internal Complaint Committee

Objective:

To act decisively against all forms of gender-based violence, discrimination and harassment within the campus and to foster a safe, fair and fearless environment where students and staff can pursue education and work without fear or bias.

Responsibilities:

• It shall be the responsibility of the committee to assist any employee or student who choose to file a complaint with the police regarding harassment or gender-based violence.
• To provide a mechanism of dispute redressal and dialogue for anticipating and addressing issues through fair and just conciliation, minimizing the need for strictly punitive actions that may cause resentment or alienation.
• To ensure that no victim or witness is victimized or discriminated against during the inquiry or handling of sexual harassment complaints.
