About the Programme

MA Journalism & Mass Communication gives training to the students in both technical skills and critical analysis of the media spectrum. It is a postgraduate course of 2 years duration. The course includes the study of mass media such as newspapers, magazines, cinema films, radio, television etc in order to convey information to the audience.

Eligibility

Aspiring students should have passed Graduate in any stream

Students having CUET Score will be given preference in merit.

Lateral Entry

Students should have successfully completed a PG diploma as defined by NEP 2020 to seek admission into Semester 3 of NEP based two-year postgraduate program post completion of exit formalities at college/ university.

Students shall be allowed lateral entry in the streams/ subjects already pursuing.

Students can seek lateral entry into a program till the validity of their credits on ABC, which is 7 years. Students shall be allowed lateral entry in the streams/ subjects already pursuing.

About the Programme

BA in Journalism & Mass Communication, is a 4 year undergraduate course which has been designed to teach the students about mass communication. It is designed to help students learn about each constituent of mass media in detail, for e.g. newspaper, radio, etc.

BA Journalism & Mass Communication familiarizes students with the theoretical and methodological foundations of Media Studies as well as introduces students to the practice and study of media communication through Print Media, Broadcast Media, Social Media, etc.

B.A in Mass Communication and Video Production is basically Bachelor of Arts – a Graduation degree with specialization in Mass communication and Video Production. The main objective of the course is to produce professionals for the field of film,media and television.
