Master of Science (M.Sc) is a two-year duration postgraduate degree course offered by universities and colleges in various specialised Science fields such as Computer Science, Chemistry, Bio-technology , Microbiology, Botany, Zoology and Physics.
A Master of Science degree provides scientific as well as professional entry-level competency to students. The course offers advanced theoretical as well as practical knowledge to students in their chosen specialisation.
The M.Sc specialisation opted by students is usually the one studied by them during graduation.
Eligibility
B.Sc. Passed with relevant stream with 50%(for SC/ST/OBC 45%)
Students having CUET Score will be given preference in merit.
Lateral Entry
Students should have successfully completed a PG diploma as defined by NEP 2020 to seek admission into Semester 3 of NEP based two-year postgraduate program post completion of exit formalities at college/ university.
Students shall be allowed lateral entry in the streams/ subjects already pursuing.
Students can seek lateral entry into a program till the validity of their credits on ABC, which is 7 years.
