M.Lib. or Master of Library Science is a postgraduate level degree course in library sciences. Library science is an interdisciplinary field which involves the study of principles and practices of library administration. The major disciplines that are associated with library science include education, management, and information technology.
Eligibility
Candidates with a B.Lib. or equivalent degree with 50% (for SC/ST/OBC 45%)
Students having CUET Score will be given preference in merit.
Lateral Entry
Students should have successfully completed a PG diploma as defined by NEP 2020 to seek admission into Semester 3 of NEP based two-year postgraduate program post completion of exit formalities at college/ university.
Students shall be allowed lateral entry in the streams/ subjects already pursuing.
Students can seek lateral entry into a program till the validity of their credits on ABC, which is 7 years.
