About the Programme

An M.Sc Botany course is a two-year course and various universities and colleges offer MSc Botany. The course is designed in such a manner that students can become botanists, mycologists and phycologists. Botany also deals with various aspects of agriculture, horticulture, forestry and environmental science.

Eligibility

B.Sc. Passed with relevant stream with 50%(for SC/ST/OBC 45%)

Students having CUET Score will be given preference in merit.

Lateral Entry

Students should have successfully completed a PG diploma as defined by NEP 2020 to seek admission into Semester 3 of NEP based two-year postgraduate program post completion of exit formalities at college/ university.

Students shall be allowed lateral entry in the streams/ subjects already pursuing.

Students can seek lateral entry into a program till the validity of their credits on ABC, which is 7 years.
