M.A. English or Master of Arts in English is a postgraduate academic degree. English literature includes a comprehensive study of both ancient and modern English literature comprising poetry, prose, and fiction. The duration of the course is two years and the syllabus is divided into four semesters. The course also includes a thorough study of Indian Writings in English from its very early times to the contemporary ones.

Students having CUET Score will be given preference in merit.
Students should have successfully completed a PG diploma as defined by NEP 2020 to seek admission into Semester 3 of NEP based two-year postgraduate program post completion of exit formalities at college/ university.
Students shall be allowed lateral entry in the streams/ subjects already pursuing.
Students can seek lateral entry into a program till the validity of their credits on ABC, which is 7 years. Students shall be allowed lateral entry in the streams/ subjects already pursuing.
