About the Programme

Diploma in Computer Application is a diploma course that can be pursued by a student who is interested in computer applications. DCA course duration is 1 year. Candidates who want to pursue the course should have completed their 10th from any recognized board in India. The course imparts scientific, practical and technical knowledge to its learners about various computer tools that are used in day to day life.   

Eligibility

Any 12th passed with 50% (for SC/ST/OBC 45%)

Students having CUET Score will be given preference in merit.

Lateral Entry

Students should have successfully completed a certificate, diploma or degree program as defined by NEP 2020 to seek admission into Semester 3, Semester 5 and Semester 7, respectively, of NEP based four-year undergraduate program post completion of exit formalities at undergoing college/ university.

Students can seek lateral entry into a program till the validity of their credits on ABC, which is 7 years. Students shall be allowed lateral entry in the streams/ subjects already pursuing.
