Bachelor of Social Work (B.S.W) is a 4-year undergraduate degree that offers knowledge and skills to aspirants to prepare them for a professional career in social welfare. The course is divided into 8 semesters into most of the universities and colleges.
BSW enables students to apply their knowledge and consciously applying these practices in the real world to help masses suffering from poverty, violence, mental illness, homelessness, and diseases like AIDS and cancer.
Aspiring students should have passed 10+2 in any stream from a recognised Board.
Students having CUET Score will be given preference in merit.
Students should have successfully completed a certificate, diploma or degree program as defined by NEP 2020 to seek admission into Semester 3, Semester 5 and Semester 7, respectively, of NEP based four-year undergraduate program post completion of exit formalities at undergoing college/ university.
Students can seek lateral entry into a program till the validity of their credits on ABC, which is 7 years. Students shall be allowed lateral entry in the streams/ subjects already pursuing.
