About the Programme

Bachelor of Library Science (B.Lib) is a one-year degree which is awarded to the students who excel in the Library Science. The objective of B.Lib course is to meet the demand of the growing needs of experts in the fields of library management and administration, book and journal procurement.

Eligibility

Any passed Graduate or equivalent

Students having CUET Score will be given preference in merit.

Lateral Entry

Students should have successfully completed a certificate, diploma or degree program as defined by NEP 2020 to seek admission into Semester 3, Semester 5 and Semester 7, respectively, of NEP based four-year undergraduate program post completion of exit formalities at undergoing college/ university.

Students can seek lateral entry into a program till the validity of their credits on ABC, which is 7 years. Students shall be allowed lateral entry in the streams/ subjects already pursuing.
