B.A. (Hons.) Geography or Bachelor of Arts Honours in Geography is a 4 years undergraduate Geography Course. Geography is the science that studies the lands, features, inhabitants, and phenomena of Earth. A literal translation would be to describe or write about the Earth. B.A. (Hons.) Geography is generally three academic year degree course. This course mainly focuses on the specific areas like Geographic Information System (GIS), and environmental geography.
Eligibility
Any 12th passed with 50% (for SC/ST/OBC 45%)
Students having CUET Score will be given preference in merit.
Lateral Entry
Students should have successfully completed a certificate, diploma or degree program as defined by NEP 2020 to seek admission into Semester 3, Semester 5 and Semester 7, respectively, of NEP based four-year undergraduate program post completion of exit formalities at undergoing college/ university.
Students can seek lateral entry into a program till the validity of their credits on ABC, which is 7 years. Students shall be allowed lateral entry in the streams/ subjects already pursuing.
