B.A. English Hons is a 4 year undergraduate course which comes under the field of humanities and arts. B.A. English (Hons) course teaches the students about the development of the English language and literature into modern society through drama, poetry, novel and plays. English is a West Germanic language that arose in the Anglo-Saxon kingdoms of England and spread into what was to become south-east Scotland under the influence of the Anglian medieval kingdom of Northumbria.

Students should have successfully completed a certificate, diploma or degree program as defined by NEP 2020 to seek admission into Semester 3, Semester 5 and Semester 7, respectively, of NEP based four-year undergraduate program post completion of exit formalities at undergoing college/ university.
Students can seek lateral entry into a program till the validity of their credits on ABC, which is 7 years. Students shall be allowed lateral entry in the streams/ subjects already pursuing.
