B.Sc. Multimedia (Bachelor of Science in Multimedia) is a three-year undergraduate program focused on the creative and technical aspects of digital media, design, and content development. The course equips students with the knowledge and practical skills required to create engaging multimedia content using modern design tools, graphic software, animation techniques, and interactive technologies.
With the rapid growth of digital media, entertainment, advertising, gaming, and online communication, multimedia professionals are in high demand across various industries. The program nurtures creativity, innovation, and technical expertise, preparing students for rewarding careers in graphic design, animation, web design, video production, digital marketing, and other creative fields.
Eligibility
To be eligible for admission to the B.Sc. Multimedia program, candidates must have successfully completed their 10+2 or an equivalent examination, with 50% (for SC/ST/OBC 45%), from a recognized board in any stream. Aspirants with a creative mindset, strong imagination, artistic aptitude, and an interest in digital design and visual communication are well suited for this course.
Students having CUET Score will be given preference in merit.
Lateral Entry
Students should have successfully completed a certificate, diploma or degree program as defined by NEP 2020 to seek admission into Semester 3, Semester 5 and Semester 7, respectively, of NEP based four-year undergraduate program post completion of exit formalities at undergoing college/ university.
Students can seek lateral entry into a program till the validity of their credits on ABC, which is 7 years. Students shall be allowed lateral entry in the streams/ subjects already pursuing.
