About the Programme

Bachelor of Arts B.A. (Hons.) in Bengali is an undergraduate full-time course. The duration of this course is 4 years divided into 8 semesters. This course concerns the field of arts and covers the Bengali language. This course covers studies of the Bengali Grammar, Literature, and Poetry.

Eligibility

Any 12th passed with 50% (for SC/ST/OBC 45%)

Students having CUET Score will be given preference in merit.

Lateral Entry

Students should have successfully completed a certificate, diploma or degree program as defined by NEP 2020 to seek admission into Semester 3, Semester 5 and Semester 7, respectively, of NEP based four-year undergraduate program post completion of exit formalities at undergoing college/ university.

Students can seek lateral entry into a program till the validity of their credits on ABC, which is 7 years. Students shall be allowed lateral entry in the streams/ subjects already pursuing.
