RKDF University, Ranchi is committed to providing an inclusive and barrier-free learning environment for all students, including those with physical, visual, auditory, or learning disabilities. The university adheres to the guidelines of the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (RPwD) Act, 2016 and UGC norms to ensure accessibility and equal opportunities.

Infrastructure & Physical Accessibility
  • Ramp Access: Ramps are provided at key entry and exit points of academic and administrative buildings.
  • Handrails: Supportive handrails installed along staircases and corridors.
  • Accessible Washrooms: Separate and specially designed toilets for differently-abled students and staff.
Assistive Support Services
  • Scribe Facility & Extra Time: Scribe and extra time are provided during examinations as per university norms and UGC guidelines.
  • Seating Arrangements: Preferential and comfortable seating is arranged for differently-abled students in classrooms and examination halls.
Academic & Digital Support
  • Counselling and Mentoring: Regular counselling and academic guidance are offered by faculty and student mentors.
  • Digital Learning Support: Study material is made available in accessible formats where required (e.g., soft copies, large print).
