The green lungs initiative

  Are you aware of climate change? It’s a global issue that affects not only humans but also every other living creature on Earth. If people stick to fossil fuels and other unsustainable means of production, the world will witness more devastating natural disasters and severe changes in temperature — but there is hope.

Individuals and RKDF Family alike have taken it upon themselves to help the world become clean and green, one step at a time. 

The Green lungs Initiative has as its main objective the offsetting of Greenhouse gases emitted by human activities that can range from complex industrial production processes to simply driving a car, with reforestation projects in riparian areas including the college campus that need to be recovered. The trees planted will absorb carbon dioxide from the atmosphere and provide, as well as environmental benefits, such as water and air quality preservation, and biodiversity protection.
